When we think of hip hop we most likely think of homophobia, or just not tolerant towards gay. While major hip hop artist like Snoop Dogg or Snoop Lion as he is referred to now reported stated that ‘Frank's a singer. It's acceptable in the singing world, but in the rap world I don't know if it ever will be because rap is so masculine.’ While there is no openly gay rapper out there as of yet, there are a couple of rappers that are addressing gays, homophobia, marriage equality, and religion. i wanted to share with you two different videos with you. One is Macklemore and Ryan Lewis song “Same Love” and the second is MURS, Animal style. Both videos are about gay issues but are equally different. Both are a great way to start a conversation, with family and friends.
